so i watched all the old guard bts videos & i feel Very Played over how the movie doesnt really show the fact that joe spent the whole kill room floor fight standing between nicky and the mercs

its just Maximum Endearing because

1. joe just absolutely sprinting to get to nicky while everyone else isnt even on their feet yet

2. nicky jerking back all surprised when joe appears in front of him

3. joe running right in front of andy when she’s about to charge, which could have easily ended very badly for the both of them

4. HE LEMFT BOOKER ALL BY HIMSELF

& when you look at the footage thats from the mercs’ point of view, you can barely see nicky behind joe, much less shoot him

(&&& when you look at merrick’s footage of the squad reviving, you can see joe prop himself up with his shotgun to force himself to get up faster. his arm is shaking!)
